Batchu v 5817 Food Corp, 56 A.D.3d 402, 866 N.Y.S.2d 755 (2d Dept 2008)
The firm represented the Defendant 5817 Food Corp in an appeal by the Plaintiff Batchu. The Appellate Division, Second Department denied the Plaintiff’s appeal and sustained the favorable verdict for K&R’s client. The Court refused to set aside the verdict and rejected Plaintiff’s claim holding that it was against the weight of the evidence.
Mollano v RC Dolner 859 N.Y.S.2d 904 (2008) N.Y. Slip Op. 50607(U)
Plaintiff sued pursuant to Labor Law for injuries sustained at a worksite due to a ladder falling and injuring the Plaintiff. Representing the Defendants Katz & Rychik P.C. moved for summary judgment and was successful in having the entire case, including all labor law claims, dismissed.
